Escape the crowds and step into a unique oasis in southern Mallorca. Located in Ses Salines, Botanicactus offers you a fascinating journey through botany and the contrasts of nature in an area of more than 150,000 square metres.
During your visit, you can explore three large and distinctly different areas at your own pace:
The Mallorcan Forest:
In a completely separate area, you'll travel to the roots of the island. Here we have recreated and protected the traditional Mediterranean landscape. You can stroll under the shade of pine, olive, almond, and pomegranate trees, discovering the richness of the native Balearic flora.
The Desert Landscape:
Get ready to take out your camera. You'll walk among an impressive collection of thousands of cacti from all over the world. From small spherical specimens to true centuries-old giants that rise several metres into the sky, creating a fascinating and very photogenic desert setting.
The Great Lake:
At the end of our tour, you'll find a spectacular lake. This extensive freshwater area provides a cool microclimate to the garden and features small islands and aquatic vegetation that invite you to sit, relax, and enjoy the sound of water and birds.
Botanicactus is the perfect excursion (with a recommended duration of 1.5 to 2 hours). Its wide, flat paths make it fully accessible and comfortable for visitors of all ages, from families with children to botany lovers looking for a quiet walk.
