Dive into the fascinating world of freediving with an experience specially designed for beginners and those simply curious.
This introductory session will allow you to discover the discipline gently in a safe and supportive environment.
During this activity, you will begin with a theoretical presentation where you will learn the essential principles of freediving:
conscious breathing,
equalization,
relaxation techniques.
This learning is designed to help you understand how your body reacts underwater and how to practice freediving comfortably and relaxed.
After this introduction, you will participate in a breathing and relaxation exercise session to prepare your body and mind. This step is essential to allow you to fully enjoy your first dives in the sea.
We will then head to an area of calm water where you will make your first dives to depths of between 2 and 5 metres, depending on your comfort level and experience.
This activity takes place in small groups, allowing for personalised guidance and an approach tailored to each individual.
The goal is to offer a pleasant and reassuring experience, without performance pressure.
The focus is on discovering new sensations, managing your breathing, and the joy of moving freely underwater.
At the end of this experience, you will receive an SSI TRY FREEDIVING recognition card, which certifies your participation in this introductory session.
This card is a first step into the world of freediving and can allow you to pursue SSI training if you wish to continue your adventure.
All necessary equipment is provided, and no prior experience is required.
This activity is open to participants aged 10 and up, provided they can swim and have no medical contraindications to freediving.
