What you can expect

Walking tour starts at Manazuru station. Explore a local shopping street, enjoy the scenic view of Manazuru Port from a high ground, and walk down a narrow alley to the port, having a glimpse of simple and relaxing lifestyle of a fishing town.

After enjoying lunch at a seafood restaurant, continue walking to Kibune Shrine, which was founded in 889 and acts as the town's guardian, and pray for your goodluck. Walk back to the port and taste homemade dried fish (“himono” in Japanese). Then visit a popular “kakuuchi” riquor shop where you can drink and interact with locals.

Walk back to the station and tour ends, but stop by at a cosy cafe or local izakaya if you're interested in as an option.

Through this tour, you'll experience nostargic atmosphere which is totally different from big cities such as Tokyo, and spend relaxing & heartwarming time.
