Your experience begins inside a real underground maze of 800 square metres carved into the stone, where you will be enveloped by a timeless ancestral atmosphere that recalls the Greek myth of Daedalus.
Here, there is only one rule: Get lost to find yourself.
Together, we will follow Ariadne's red thread, telling the storey of Matera, discovering fascinating works of art, and listening to some of the most evocative legends of Greek mythology.

At the end of the physical route, you will sit down to begin the digital journey.
Thanks to advanced 360° 3D VR headsets, you will experience the secret places of tradition first-hand: you will see the hands of master bakers shaping the Bread of Matera, the olive harvest, the oil mills in action during the pressing of the oil, the grape harvest, and the silence of the cellars where the wine rests.
To conclude the sensory journey, you will take off your headset and find the real products in front of you.
We will guide you through a food tasting of excellence where warm bread meets the aroma of extra virgin olive oil and the structured notes of local wine.
To finish, we will give you a professional souvenir photo taken inside the Dedalo.

The 3D headsets are easy to use and are thoroughly sanitised after each
single use. The experience takes place entirely indoors, inside
underground spaces that are cool in the summer and heated in the winter.
