Start your 5-hour Mátra adventure in Mátrafüred, where our local team welcomes you and introduces the programme. After a short safety briefing, set off on a 1 to 1.25-hour guided electric Polaris Ranger (E-Ranger) safari through the breathtaking forests and mountain trails of the Mátra. Drive an all-electric off-road vehicle along scenic forest roads, discover hidden viewpoints, and experience the natural beauty of Hungary's largest mountain range. Your guide will ensure a safe and enjoyable adventure throughout the tour. A valid Category B driving licence is required to drive the E-Ranger.
After the E-Ranger safari, continue with one optional activity of your choice. Choose from a Kékes Summit Hike on the Blue Cross Trail, Nordic Walking, Frisbee Golf, Trilla Map Expedition, Code Quest, The Panic Attic, Magic Escape Cube, Munzee, Mountain Biking, or Minigolf. The selected activity should be chosen in advance, subject to availability and group preference.
During the programme, you will also connect with Kékes, Hungary's highest peak at 1,014 metres, one of the most iconic destinations in the Mátra Mountains. It is a perfect highlight for international visitors looking to experience one of Hungary's most spectacular natural attractions.
The experience concludes with a one-course traditional Hungarian lunch and a drink. Choose from breaded chicken breast with French fries, traditional Hungarian sztrapacska, or Palóc soup.
