What you can expect

You'll be heading to Trou Aux Cerfs which is a crater surrounded by a vast area of lush forest consisting of indigenous plant species and some giant green pine trees. Definitely, one of the main highlights is the 360-degree view of the town of Curepipe and the Mountain range

Afterwards, head to Mare Aux Vacoas reservoir which has the honour of being the largest reservoir on the island and is simultaneously a rather popular stop for tourists visiting the south of the island.

Then, continue to Ganga Talao which is a crater lake, about 550 metres above sea level. On the shoreline sits a temple along with a collection of small shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva and other gods. You will inevitably be awestruck by the gigantic statue of Lord Shiva which is 33 metres high & is the highest-known statue in Mauritius.

The next stop is Alexandra falls which offers visitors the chance to live a unique experience with nature. Once you are there, do not miss the chance to admire and capture on your camera the panoramic view of the South-East Coast with its turquoise ocean. You will also have a plunging look at Mauritius’s virgin green valley which is home to many endemic avian species and flora.

Next, you'll head to Gorge Viewpoint, where you will stop for a stunning panoramic view of the endless green stretches. Amidst the unspoiled rainforest of Mauritius, there are almost 17,000 acres of rolling hills, deep valleys, spectacular waterfalls, and unparalleled beauty of flora and fauna.

Then, you'll head to see the astounding Chamarel Viewpoint to get an amazing panoramic view of the whole Chamarel village laid beneath your eyes. From there, you will see the lush greenery and the turquoise waters of the southwest coast as well as an aerial view of Ile Aux Benitiers.

Afterwards, you'll head to a local restaurant to savour a Mauritian lunch.

Next, you'll head to Maconde viewpoint to admire the panoramic view of the remarkable ocean. You will feel like “you are in the middle of the ocean.”

Then head to the Mauritius Casela Nature Park which is a real nature and adventure park . A visit to the park is a must for everyone, with thousands of animals to view including African Big Cats, a wide number of thrilling activities, and unique experiences, all in one place.

As part of this trip, you will enjoy:

  • African lorry safari - Get a taste of Africa in Mauritius with a unique chance to encounter antelopes, white rhinos, zebras, and ostriches.

  • Visit Birds Paradise Park - Walk thru the aviary - Get ready to be fascinated when visiting the Bird Paradise. Walkthrough the bird aviary to discover various colourful bird species from all around the world.

  • Animal viewing: Girraffes, Camel, pygmy hippos, and many more for a unique viewing experience
