07:30 AM – Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Leave the bustling streets behind and enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour drive through the countryside to My Tho City, the gateway to the Mekong Delta.

09:00 AM – Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Located in Tien Giang province and built in 1849, this iconic pagoda blends Vietnamese, Chinese, and Khmer architecture. Inside, admire its beautiful gardens and more than 60 precious Buddha statues crafted from wood, bronze, and terracotta.

Afterwards, board a motorboat for a leisurely cruise along the Mekong River. Cross to Unicorn Island, one of the famous Four Islands (Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, Phoenix). At a local bee farm, sip a refreshing cup of honey tea with kumquat, made from nectar collected by thousands of bees from longan and pomelo blossoms. Then stroll through lush tropical fruit gardens before returning to the boat.

On Unicorn Island, enjoy the sounds of “Đờn Ca Tài Tử”, a traditional folk music style recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. While listening, taste a selection of fresh tropical fruits such as mango, dragon fruit, and rambutan.

Next, step into a small rowing boat to glide through narrow canals lined with dense nipa palm trees. This serene journey gives you a close look at everyday delta life, where peaceful nature and the friendliness of local people create unforgettable memories.

Continue by motorboat to Ben Tre province, known as the “land of coconuts.” Visit a coconut sweets workshop to see how locals handcraft this sweet speciality, and of course, taste the freshly made treats.
