Finiq holds great historical importance, as atop a nearby hill lie the impressive ruins of the ancient city of Kaon, dating back to the 5th century BC. During our walk in the village centre, we will discuss both the village’s local traditions and its remarkable heritage, connecting the present-day community with the fascinating legacy of one of the oldest settlements in the region. This stop offers a unique combination of authentic village life and extraordinary archaeological significance.

The third stop will be Karahaxh, a picturesque village known for its authentic rural charm. Here, we will explore the village streets, interact with locals, and enjoy the serene natural surroundings. You will have the opportunity to experience traditional Albanian hospitality with a coffee and a glass of raki, the country’s most famous and beloved drink. This stop provides a relaxing conclusion to the tour, allowing you to immerse yourself in local culture and enjoy the peaceful village atmosphere. After Karahaxh, we will drive back to Saranda, returning to the same meeting point or the city centre, depending on what is most convenient for you. This allows you to end the tour comfortably and with plenty of time to relax or continue exploring Saranda on your own.
