It all begins with a warm welcome at Cantina Petrillo and an authentic breakfast featuring homemade treats, such as cookies and wine cake, accompanied by a refreshing aperitif. From here, the itinerary continues with a guided historical and cultural tour of the village of Montefusco, featuring stone-lined alleys, stunning views, and landmarks that bear witness to centuries of local traditions. The tour includes stops at the Oratory of San Giacomo, Palazzo Giordano, the City Tower and the historic Bourbon Prison, as well as local museums and wineries.

Back at the estate, a 3-course lunch inspired by traditional Irpinian and Samnite cuisine, prepared with seasonal ingredients, awaits you. During lunch, you will take part in a fun, hands-on demonstration of the art of handmade pasta: together, we will make Fusilli Pietrafusani, enhanced with the addition of Aglianico wine.

In the afternoon, you will venture into the heart of the estate with a visit to the Petrillo winery: amid barrels and the aroma of must, you will learn more about the stages of winemaking and sparkling wine production through a technical explanation by Maurizio, followed by a tasting session focusing on Petrillo sparkling wines. An authentic journey that will allow you to return home with a heartfelt memory of Irpinia.
