Day 1: Arrival and Preparation
Arrive at Rafting Republic Divlja Rijeka. Settle into your accommodation and enjoy a delicious dinner. Attend a briefing to prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Rafting and Exploration
Wake up early and have breakfast. Pack your personal belongings and form groups. Drive through the stunning landscapes of Piva Canyon and Mountain, passing through Pišče, Trsa, and Virak villages, the Durmitor National Park, and the hill town and ski resort of Žabljak. Stop at the Đurđevića Tara Bridge, 150 metres above the Tara River.
Continue to the Tara River, where you’ll receive all necessary equipment and instructions. Leave your dry belongings in a vehicle that will follow you throughout the trip. Begin your rafting adventure to Radovan Port, lasting 3 to 4 hours with breaks for sightseeing.
See the Ljutica (the biggest well in Europe), Archangel Michael's Monastery (built in the 14th century), Mušovića Springs, and Laza's Stone (where the Tara is at its deepest, 14 metres). Enjoy a packed lunch on the river. Spend the night at the Radovan Luka Motel, with free time for rest, walks along the river, and a campfire with barbecue and music entertainment.
Day 3: Rafting and Return
Wake up early and have breakfast. Pack your belongings and begin a new rafting adventure through the most beautiful part of Durmitor National Park. See the village of Tepca, Bajlovića Sige (an incredible natural creation accessible only by boat or kayak), Sušica Canyon, and the attractive rapids Upper and Lower Nozdruć and Podrta Usov.
After 4 to 5 hours and 2 to 3 swimming breaks, arrive at Brštanovica Camp. Have a snack on the coast of Tara and continue your rafting adventure through the most exciting part of the Tara River. Conquer 21 rapids out of 53 since the beginning of your journey and pass through the place where the Piva and Tara meet to form the Drina River. Finally, after 70 km of rafting, arrive at Divlja Rijeka, where a delicious lunch awaits.
