Ettal Abbey
Ettal Abbey was founded in 1330 by Emperor Ludwig IV and is still an active Benedictine monastery. The church is famous for its impressive Baroque dome and colourful frescoes. The monks here continue traditional production, including beer, liqueurs, and cheese. It’s a peaceful place where spirituality meets Bavarian tradition.

Linderhof Palace
Linderhof Palace was built between 1869 and 1886 by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and is the only palace he completed during his lifetime.
