What you can expect

Explore Vesuvius on a comfortable e-bike and live an unforgettable experience between nature and breathtaking volcanic landscapes. Ride independently along the ancient Matrone road, a historic path that from the side of Trecase will take you into the heart of the Vesuvius National Park, to the square at an altitude of 1050.
From here you can walk to the edge of the Gran Cono, admiring the majesty of the crater up close. The road, about 8 km long, starts asphalt and turns into an easy dirt road, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and the silence of the mountain.
During the climb, you will enjoy the view of Punta Nasone, the highest peak of Monte Somma, and be enchanted by the verticality of the Sterminator Vesevo, symbol of Naples and Campania.
If you wish to be accompanied, an optional service with a local guide is available.

Boscotrecase

Starting point: Boscotrecase (NA), on the slopes of Vesuvius. Delivery of the e-bike, helmets and technical explanation of the vehicle. Information on the route, safety and regulation of the Vesuvius National Park.
Trecase
  • 1h
Start of the uphill route (about 8 km) on the historic Strada Matrone. Crossing volcanic landscapes with Mediterranean vegetation and views of the Gulf of Naples. Panoramic stops to take pictures.
Parco Nazionale Del Vesuvio

  • Admission ticket included
E-bike parking and start of the climb on foot to the crater, with a 30-40 minute trek on the official path leading to the Gran Cono. Once you reach the rim of the crater, you have a panoramic view of Naples, the coast and the interior of the volcano. Guided walk along the rim of the crater with the possibility to hear geological explanations from local guides or volunteers of the Park.
