What you can expect

Ngadi Chuli stands tall at 7,871m (7.871km) within the magnificent Mansiri Himal. It lies in the historically significant Gorkha district which falls in the western part of Nepal. It is also famous as the Peak 29 or with other names like Dakura or Dakum. The locals call it the ‘ Dunapurna’. The word ‘Dunapurna’ came from two Sanskrit words; ‘duna’ and ‘purna’. ‘Duna’ means plates prepared out of leaves and, ‘purna’ means ‘goddess’ So, the mountain is considered the ‘leaf plate for goddess’ among the locals. To sum up, Ngadi Chuli Expedition in Nepal is a great adventure.

Ngadi Chuli is one of the tallest peaks within the Mansiri range and is well-known for the mesmerising views of the surrounding mountains from its summit. It has enormous mountains surrounding it, like Himachuli at its south and Mt. Manaslu at its north. The route followed for the Ngadi Chuli Expedition is home to the breathtaking forest of rhododendron, pine trees, and magnolias. Besides these, one can also spot various rare animals on their way. This route also has many glaciers, rivers, waterfalls and other stunning views that make the trip to reach the summit more enjoyable and exciting. Once reaching the top, the mountain welcomes its climbers with mesmerising views of the neighbouring mountains like the Shringi, Saula, Himalchuli, Manaslu, etc.
