Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel and head to Niagara Falls, one of the most spectacular sights in the world. Located on the Niagara River at the border of Canada and the United States, Niagara Falls is known as one of the seven wonders of the world.
First, visit the Cave of the Winds, where you can take an lift down 53 metres in the Niagara Gorge to the bottom of the valley. Stand at the foot of the falls and feel the rush of water as it cascades down with overwhelming momentum.
Next, head to Bridal Veil Falls, a scenic day-use area where you can enjoy picnicking, hiking, and viewing the spectacular falls, which tumble 60 metres over a smooth rock face, creating a veil-like effect.
Continue to the American Falls, the second largest of the three waterfalls that together are known as Niagara Falls. Unlike the much larger Horseshoe Falls, which is located mostly in Ontario, Canada, the American Falls is entirely within the United States.
Then, visit Goat Island, located between the two waterfalls that make up Niagara Falls. Its Terrapin Point offers some of the most breathtaking views of the falls.
Next, head to Niagara Falls State Park, the oldest state park in the US, which contains the American Falls, the Bridal Veil Falls, and a portion of the Horseshoe Falls.
Afterwards, visit the Niagara Falls Observation Tower, which offers panoramic views of all three waterfalls. Bird watching is also a popular pastime at the tower, where enthusiasts can spot peregrine falcons, bald eagles, and various gull species.
Finally, take a ride on the Maid of the Mist, the most monumental boat trip in the US since 1846.
