The Aurora Borealis, known commonly as the Northern Lights, is a naturally occuring light display that is commonly seen in high latitude locations.
These ethereal lights are formed when solar winds agitate the magnetic field of the earth, Ionising the particles and causing them to give off light which we see in the form of the wispy bands of colour across the night sky.
The auroras can form in a variety of colours depending on the altitude of the particles when they become ionised.
Our comfortable and warm bus will take you away from the light pollution and city buzz. In the still darkness of the Iceland countryside, marvel at the majestic show of the dancing auroras!
Our highly skilled guides will take you to the most promising location to hunt the lights. Each night offers a different experience but always with great stories delivered by our knowledgeable team. In the rare cases the lights do not appear, you are invited to join the northern lights bus tour again, for free.
