Overview

  • Join us for an unforgettable Northern Lights adventure through the stunning landscapes of the Altafjord! Travel in comfortable minibuses with a maximum of 16 guests, guided by passionate local guides who know the region and its hidden gems.

Since 2007, we have used our local knowledge and experience to give you the best chance of witnessing this magical spectacle, with a typical success rate of 80–90% when conditions allow.

Every evening is a new adventure! We follow the best conditions, sometimes travelling far and other times finding the lights close to Alta. Depending on our route, we may gather around a campfire or enjoy hot chocolate and snacks along the way.

More than a Northern Lights chase, this is an authentic Arctic experience. Our local guides share fascinating stories about life in Northern Norway, Sámi culture, reindeer herding, ancient history and wartime Alta.

We usually return shortly after midnight, hopefully with magical memories to last a lifetime!

Alta (Pass by)

We will start the tour from Alta Centre with the opportunity to pass by the cathedral of the Northern Lights and to enjoy the impressing view of the landscapes in the Alta Fjord. In our way through Alta we will give you a briefing about this natural phenomenon and the conditions of the day, that leads us to the best place to enjoy them in that night.
