Enjoy the opportunity to taste locally grown mountain coffee (optional and paid separately).

Next, visit the first Tea Factory, where you’ll learn about the tea production process. At this factory, tea tasting is optional and paid, and includes one type of tea.

Afterwards, continue to a second Tea Factory and Tea Plantation, where you’ll experience a more in-depth visit. Learn the full tea-making process, enjoy plucking tea leaves in the tea fields, and relax with free tasting of up to 12 different varieties of Ceylon tea. Entrance fees, tea tasting, and activities at this second tea factory are included in the tour price.

Continue your journey to the beautiful Ramboda Waterfalls area, where you can see four waterfalls. One of the waterfalls can be approached more closely, allowing you to climb nearer for photos and a memorable experience.

Next, stop at a scenic viewpoint offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, tea estates, and valleys.

The tour then takes you to a Wood Carving Museum, showcasing traditional Sri Lankan craftsmanship. Above the museum, enjoy another viewpoint with sweeping views of the area.

If interested, make an optional stop at a Gem Museum, where you can observe the gem manufacturing and polishing process and learn about Sri Lanka’s famous gemstones.

Finally, explore Nuwara Eliya city, including the historic Colonial Post Office and the lively Central Market. At the end of the tour, you’ll be dropped back at your hotel, completing a relaxed and enriching Nuwara Eliya experience.
