We do this activity in the mangrove forest. The Terraba-Sierpe Wetland is the largest wetland in Costa Rica. You can see a variety of animals, including water birds, reptiles like crocodiles, lizards, and snakes, and mammals like white-headed monkeys, howler monkeys, and sloths. You'll get great information about mangroves, their importance, and their preservation, the benefits we get, and an educational talk to share their importance and protection around the world. The activity takes place in the village of Ojochal, and you'll navigate through the river and forest until you reach a beach and enjoy some free time.
