First stop, the cosmopolitan Hydra island, with its cobblestone alleys, its unspoilt –over the centuries- unique architectural beauty, as well as the traditional means of transport that you can find on the island, its donkeys, will make the visitors fall in love with it at first sight. One of our beloved stops during the One Day Cruise that has remained one of passengers favourite. Also has inspired a lot of artists such as Sagale, Pablo Picasso and Leonard Cohen . Hydra island is the first Greek island located on Saronic Gulf to host an American production. When cinema draws inspiration from Hydra a lot of famous films have been filmed in this beautiful island like Sofia Loren’s Boy on a dolphin and Melina Merkouri’s Phaedra . The cruise boat of the One Day Cruise remains at the port of Hydra for 1 hour and 55 minutes, giving enough time to the passengers to stroll around in most of those wonderful parts of the island, the beautiful forts and the impressive mansions, enjoying a walk along the picturesque alleys, or even discover the historic landmarks. Next stop, is the port of Poros, where we stay for 50 minutes. Poros is located opposite Peloponesse and is part of Saronic islands complex. A leafy island, with an insuperable natural beauty and thousands of pine trees, expanding from the steep beaches to the sandy beaches, making Poros the island of romance and calmness. This small place beloved of Seferis, the Greek Nobel laureate, and Henry Miller. Poros island is a typical Cycladic architecture island .Walk across the town and discover the city hall, the archaeological museum of Poros , the public library, the cultural centre and the white little houses on the island, and head towards the highest point of the island, to discover the historical and famous clock tower of Poros by participating on this beautiful Day Cruise. Last stop of this unique One Day Cruise from Athens is the historical Aegina island. The biggest island of the Saronic gulf, which took its name by the beautiful nymph that was kidnapped by Zeus. Aegina is well known across the world for the delicious pistachios, the beautiful, “virgin” beaches and the Temple of Afaia. We stay at the port of Aegina for 2 hours. There is enough time to enjoy your coffee and the pistachio sweets or even better join a horse ride at the beautiful Aegina , or to participate in the historical Panoramic Bus Tour of the island and discover its hidden treasures in entire Aegina island. After our visit at our last destination we will have the pleasure to represent you our Traditional Greek Folk Show with singers and dancers all over Greece that will animate you up to your return.
