Located in Methven and proudly locally owned and operated, Ōpuke Thermal Pools & Spa sit near the foothills of Mt Hutt -also known as Ōpuke. Ōpuke offers a high-end hot pools experience, an exclusive day spa, and inviting hospitality spaces, all built on strong sustainable principles.
Tranquility is an adult-exclusive swimming experience complete with a swim up bar and restaurant where you can enjoy a drink or two and savour local fare.
Food is served at the swim up bar or in a floating basket or for those who prefer, you can dine poolside in your spa robe with plenty of comfortable seating in the restaurant.
Pair your meal with local wines, craft cocktails, mocktails, fresh juices, smoothies, or speciality coffees, and finish with indulgent desserts and ice creams. Every dish celebrates the flavours of the Canterbury region and the joy of sharing good food.
Tranquility pool temperatures are 38 °C. Experience includes complimentary robe and towel upon entry.
As a Tranquility guest you also receive access to the Discovery Pools when they are in session to enjoy different pool temperatures. Please note that during 7pm and 8pm sessions our Discovery Pools are closed.
