The Senshu Beach Lantern Festival sees thousands of sky lanterns rise into the night sky, creating a dreamy sea of lights. At this event, participants release their past worries and burdens by entrusting them to lanterns, letting them soar into the sky to cleanse their hearts and take a new step forward. The lantern lights, symbolising love, peace, and hope, connect people's hearts and illuminate special moments.

Used in weddings, anniversaries, and various festivals, these lanterns are believed to carry wishes to the heavens as their light ascends. In line with the Osaka Expo's theme of “the future,” these lanterns carry diverse wishes, adorning the night sky as they rise.
