Experience the thrill of sumo, a traditional Japanese sport with a 1,500-year history, at THE SUMO HALL HIRAKUZA OSAKA! This entertainment venue, dedicated to the ancient Japanese sport, offers a unique opportunity to witness intense demonstration matches between former sumo wrestlers. Enjoy a delicious food box (room temperature bento) and a drink while you watch the action unfold on the elevated ring.

As the show begins, settle into your seat and prepare to be amazed. Watch as our experienced sumo wrestlers demonstrate their strength and skill. Throughout the performance, learn about the rich history and rules of sumo from informative commentary and even get the chance to ask our wrestlers questions.

After the 60 minute show, you will have the chance to snap a commemorative photo with our sumo wrestlers to remember your time with us. HIRAKUZA offers an unforgettable experience that combines entertainment, education, and a taste of authentic Japanese culture.

Eating a room temperature bento while enjoying a performance or event is deeply rooted in Japanese culture, offering a uniquely authentic experience as you immerse yourself in the traditions of Japan.

Arrive 15 minutes early to prepare for an exciting journey into sumo culture! The show begins with an introduction to sumo, offering a chance to learn about its traditions and techniques. Enjoy a thrilling live match featuring former professional wrestlers, then step into the ring to try sumo training for yourself. If selected by lottery, you can even challenge a sumo wrestler in full gear! Afterwards, savour a hearty bowl of Chanko Nabe, the classic sumo dish. The experience concludes with a commemorative photo with the wrestlers, perfect for capturing your visit.
