Ouarzazate, the Gateway to the Desert or Hollywood of Africa, is the starting point for exciting excursions into the Draa Valley and the desert. The city's magnificent ocher clay buildings, including the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the Kasbah of Taourirt and Ait Benhaddou, are a sight to behold. With its rich history, film studios, and museums, Ouarzazate is not just a stopover town but a destination that will leave you with unforgettable memories.

Join us for a one-day excursion that begins at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m. Our experienced tour driver and guide will accompany you on this journey of discovery, sharing fascinating insights and stories about the region's culture, history, and traditions. The tour starts at Ait Berka, a Berber village located at 1460m, where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. We will then proceed to Ait Ben Amer, a town situated at 1550m.

We will continue to climb up to 2060m to reach the Tizi-n-tichka pass, the second-highest peak of the High Atlas mountains standing at 2260m. Finally, we'll head directly to Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, a historical palace on the way to the south.
Ait Ben Haddou

Ait Ben Haddou is one of the many kasbahs inhabited by people of the south from the 11th to the 19th century. It was a stop for caravan travellers under the authority of Bacha El Glaoui. The Kasbah has gained fame for being the location of many historical films, including Gladiator, Game of Thrones, The Mummy, Alexander the Great, and more. You will have two hours to explore the site and enjoy lunch during your visit.

Afterwards, we'll head to Ouarzazate City, also known as Moroccan Hollywood, famous for its international cinema studios. You'll be in the heart of the old medina to discover the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Museum of International Cinema. Enjoy a 30-minute break to visit the cinema museum and Taourirt Kasbah.
Marrakech (Pass by)
After this wonderfull day, it's time to go back to Marrakech. The driver will drop you off near your hotel at approximately 7:30 PM.
