Here you'll meet the host who will take you to discover the market stalls, selecting together the fresh ingredients you'll use for your cooking class. You'll learn to recognise typical products, hear interesting facts about Sicilian cuisine, and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the area up close.
After visiting the market, we'll walk to a private home in the historic centre, a warm and authentic environment where the culinary part of the experience will come to life. Here, you'll actively participate in preparing a simple but flavourful Sicilian menu, guided step-by-step by the host. You'll use fresh, seasonal ingredients and discover techniques, gestures, and stories handed down by Palermo families.
During the class, you can ask questions, taste, learn, and have fun in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, perfect for meeting new people and experiencing Palermo like a true local. Once the preparations are complete, you'll sit down at the table to enjoy the menu you've created, paired with Sicilian wine.
