Deep Symbolism: Watch as the Dervishes shed their black cloaks, symbolising a spiritual rebirth. Their tall camel-hair hats represent the tombstone of the ego, while their white robes signify the ego's shroud.

The Mystical Dance: As they whirl, the Dervishes open their right hands to the sky to receive divine blessings and their left hands towards the earth to pass that grace to humanity.

Soulful Music: The ceremony is accompanied by the Mevlevi Ensemble, featuring the haunting breath of the ney (reed flute) and the rhythmic pulse of the kudüm (drum).
