Activity itinerary

Rue de Turbigo
  • 15m
Your experience begins with a taste of our favourite croissant in the area. Alongside it, savour a pain au chocolat praliné, a modern twist to the classic, with a blend of caramelised hazelnuts and chocolate.
Rue Montorgueil
  • 25m
Next, you'll stroll through the vibrant Rue Montorgueil, a historical hub of culinary artisans. Here, you’ll taste pastries crafted by renowned pastry chefs such as Nina Métayer, Nicolas Guercio, and Pierre Chirac in an innovative pastry shop where new creations are gathered daily from the best pastry chefs around town.
Rue Montorgueil
  • 20m
Just a few minutes away, you'll get to taste a Baba au Rhum in the very place where it was invented over 300 years ago: Paris’s oldest pastry shop, founded in 1730 by the official pastry chef of Louis XV. Alongside it, we'll also taste a chocolate éclair. As you savour these historic desserts, admire the beautiful interiors designed by Paul Baudry, the artist behind the frescoes of the Opéra Garnier.
Rue du Temple
  • 20m
Your journey continues into the heart of Le Marais. Along the way, you’ll pass by the legendary house of Nicolas Flamel, explore charming hidden passages, and admire the impressive 17th-century National Archives.
Rue de la Verrerie
  • 15m
Shortly after, you’ll experience a tasting of pastries that blend oriental flavours with French craftsmanship, a reflection of the multicultural influences that have shaped Le Marais’ culinary identity over centuries.
Rue du Roi de Sicile
  • 20m
Just before entering the Jewish area, you’ll stop at what we consider to be one of the last hidden gem pastry shops of the area. Known by locals for its extraordinary balance of flavours, impeccable technique, and dedication to seasonal ingredients, this place is a well-kept secret.
Place des Vosges
  • 20m
Your tour concludes with a visit to our favourite bakery in town, where you’ll enjoy one final tasting: a signature pastry of your choice, like a pistachio millefeuille, a slice of flan, or a tiramisu turned into an entremets. Enjoy this last treat while discovering la Place des Vosges and l’Hôtel de Sully.
