Overview

During this tour you will taste various pastries and viennoiseries at six different locations, including the oldest pastry shop in the country, from well-known classics like the Paris-Brest or Saint-Honoré, made by state-of-the-art chefs, to cutting-edge hidden gems of the new Parisian pastry scene.

As you explore, you’ll visit the Hôtel de Sully, a 17th-century aristocratic residence with a hidden garden leading to the Place des Vosges. You’ll also discover the stunning Église Saint-Paul-Saint-Louis, designed by the architect of Versailles, Nicolas Flamel's house, the Jewish Quarter, and Rue Montorgueil, where you'll admire paintings by Paul Baudry, the artist behind the Opéra Garnier.

Along the way, our expert guides will share insights into the French terroirs and their history, you’ll discover the stories and anecdotes behind each sweet creation you taste, and how they shaped Le Marais into the heart of Paris’s pastry scene !

Just a few minutes away, you'll get to taste a Baba au Rhum in the very place where it was invented over 300 years ago: Paris’s oldest pastry shop, founded in 1730 by the official pastry chef of Louis XV.
