The walk, suitable for everyone, will let us discover the strong bond between the town, the river and the hills that surround it; among olive groves, architectural highlights (the city walls, the churches of Santo Stefano and Niccolao, the church of San Francesco, Bareglia Castle) and the “cantini,” we will learn about the flora and fauna that live there.
We start and end the walk on the terrace of Pescia's town hall.
We descend to the banks of the river and continue walking first along the medieval walls of the Cathedral and then through the narrow streets of the market area, the commercial heart of the city. An easy and fascinating 2-hour trek where we can enjoy the serene and relaxing atmosphere of the most authentic Tuscany.
