Loh Samah Bay is a peaceful and picturesque bay located on the southern side of Phi Phi Leh. Surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs and clear turquoise water, it is home to a rich variety of marine life. Our boat normally arrives at Loh Samah Bay, which serves as the main access point to Maya Bay. After disembarking, visitors follow the designated walkway through the island to reach the world-famous beach. Along the way, you can enjoy beautiful views and take photos of the surrounding scenery. As visitor numbers are controlled by the national park, there may occasionally be a queue to enter Maya Bay. Waiting times can exceed 20 minutes during busy periods. Please note that Loh Samah Bay and Maya Bay are closed annually from 1 August through September 30 and reopen on October 1. Since access to Maya Bay is through Loh Samah Bay, this stop is not included in the itinerary during the closure period.

Maya Bay Stop (Phi Phi Leh Island) Arrive at the world-famous Maya Bay, the iconic filming location of “The Beach” starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Take in the breathtaking scenery of white sand, turquoise waters, and towering limestone cliffs at one of Thailand’s most beautiful and recognisable beaches. Our boat normally arrives at Loh Samah Bay, the designated entrance to Maya Bay. After disembarking, you will follow a short walkway across the island to reach the beach. Swimming inside Maya Bay is not permitted under national park regulations. Visitors may enter the shallow water near the shoreline only where permitted and should always follow the instructions of the national park staff and tour guide. Seasonal Notice: Maya Bay is closed annually from 1 August to October 1 for environmental restoration. During this period, visits to the beach are not permitted; however, the tour will stop nearby for sightseeing and photo opportunities from the boat (subject to sea conditions).

Cruise into the stunning Pileh Lagoon, a natural pool surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. Enjoy swimming in calm, emerald-green waters—one of the most picturesque spots in Phi Phi. For a unique experience, you can also rent a traditional long-tail boat for photos and a closer exploration of the lagoon.

Enjoy sightseeing of the famous Viking Cave from the boat, known for its ancient wall paintings and traditional bird’s nest harvesting. This iconic limestone cave is one of the most unique landmarks in Phi Phi Leh, offering a glimpse into local culture and history.

Enjoy a delicious all-you-can-eat Thai buffet lunch on Phi Phi Don Island, with halal and vegetarian options available. Savour a variety of local dishes to suit all tastes in a relaxed island setting. The restaurant type and ambiance may vary depending on your selected tour option. Enjoy sightseeing at Monkey Beach, located in the scenic Yong Kasem Bay. This beautiful stretch of white sand is home to wild monkeys and surrounded by crystal-clear waters and lush cliffs—perfect for photos from the boat. For safety reasons, please do not feed or approach the monkeys.

Arrive at Bamboo Island, a tropical paradise with soft white sand and crystal-clear waters. Enjoy swimming, snorkelling, or simply relaxing on the beach surrounded by stunning scenery. PLEASE NOTE: this stop is included only in selected tour options.

Relax or snorkel at Khai Nok or Khai Nai Island. Khai Islands often called the “Pearls of the Andaman Sea.” Enjoy crystal-clear waters, soft sandy beaches, and excellent conditions for swimming and marine life viewing. Optional activities such as jet skiing and parasailing are available on-site (extra charge). Beach services, including sunbeds, umbrellas, bathrooms, and food & drinks, are also available for an additional cost. PLEASE NOTE: this stop is included only in selected tour options.

Return to the pier. From there, transfer back by minibus to your hotel, villa, or apartment in Phuket, completing your day trip comfortably.
