After entering the park, take a panoramic train that takes you to the starting point of the upper lakes. During the ride, pass through forest landscapes, get the first sense of the park’s size, and hear your guide explain the structure of the lakes and the formation of tufa barriers.

The upper lakes are quieter, more intimate, and more natural. Here, the water flows more slowly, the forest is denser, and there are fewer people. Walk along wooden paths right by the water, between waterfalls that overflow from one lake to another.

The lower lakes are completely different. Here, the rocks create dramatic canyons, and the waterfalls are stronger. The highlight of the tour is the Great Waterfall, the largest waterfall in Croatia. Take a break for photos, a short rest, and enjoy the view.
