Overview

  • RWTH Aachen is celebrated worldwide as a giant of engineering and high-tech innovation. But beneath the shiny surface of its status as an excellent university hides a rough, hidden reality. Accompany Lukas, a sociologist, and his good friend Angela from Aachen as they look behind the scenes of this prestigious institution. You will discover the intense socioeconomic struggles, the alarming reality of mental health, and the vibrant, grassroots counterculture that the students have built to survive. This is not a tour of monuments; it is a journey into the psychological and physical spaces where academic pressure meets human resilience.
