The walk starts on an abandoned road once linked to military training and a former prison, then climbs steeply into rugged mountains overlooking Police Bay’s wild coastline. Along the way, learn about the area’s past, including cinnamon and coconut distilleries, rice plantations, and former settlements worked by enslaved people. The trail is very steep, overgrown in places, and physically challenging, rewarding fit hikers with dramatic coastal views before a careful descent.
