Overview

  • Experience one of China’s most breathtaking natural wonders on this one-day hike through Tiger Leaping Gorge — a dramatic canyon carved by the roaring Jinsha River between the Jade Dragon and Haba Snow Mountains. Walk along cliffside trails that reveal towering limestone peaks, cascading waterfalls, and terraced villages clinging to the mountainsides.
Along the way, encounter local Naxi people, hear their legends about the “leaping tiger,” and stop at hidden guesthouses overlooking the river far below.
This moderate hike offers spectacular photo opportunities, fresh mountain air, and a true sense of adventure — all within a single unforgettable day in Yunnan’s most iconic landscape.
