We'll visit the beautiful Colonia del Sacramento on a full-day tour.
We'll depart from Montevideo in a comfortable vehicle, which could be a car or a minivan, and head west in Uruguay. From the start, we'll talk about our country's history and our culture to give you an introduction to what Colonia is all about.
We'll get to know Colonia, a UNESCO-recognized city and the first city founded in Uruguay.
Its Old Town, with its squares, cobbled streets, lighthouse, and basilica, will make our guests fall in love with this charming little city.
Upon arrival, we'll take a walking tour of the Old Town, talking about its history and beginnings, and you'll also be able to take some beautiful photos there.
Our guests will have free time for lunch wherever they choose, based on our recommendations.
In the afternoon, we'll stroll through the Real de San Carlos area, the Rambla de Colonia, the Plaza de Toros bullring, and the Colonia sign, where our guests can take the quintessential photo.
On our more leisurely return to Montevideo, we'll stop just a few kilometres from Colonia at Granja Arenas (Pencil Museum), a place where the owner has the largest collection of pencils in the world (Guinness World Record).
There, you can sample homemade cheeses and jams and, why not, those who wish can do some shopping.
