We will visit the three neighbourhoods of Berat, Mangalemi - Gorica and Castle itself. Will walk to the most beautiful spot in the castle. Berat is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognised for its well-preserved Ottoman architecture and historical significance. Key features of Berat include: • The Castle of Berat (Kalaja e Beratit): A historic hilltop fortress that has been inhabited since the 4th century BC, offering panoramic views of the city and surrounding landscape. • The Mangalem and Gorica Quarters: Two traditional areas that represent different architectural styles, with Mangalem being known for its Ottoman houses, and Gorica connected to the city by a bridge.
