Your journey begins with a morning domestic flight from Addis Ababa to Gondar. From there, drive 100km north to Debark to register at the park headquarters. Continue to the Sankaber area (3,100m) and enjoy a 2 to 3-hour acclimatisation hike along the spectacular escarpment, where you'll have your first encounters with the endemic Gelada Baboons.
