Castello di San Nicola l’Arena & Departure Historic seaside castle overlooking the marina, offering a glimpse into Sicily’s coastal heritage. Start your experience from here, navigating under sail or motor depending on weather conditions. Enjoy a relaxed and flexible itinerary with swimming stops decided together, and the opportunity to learn the basics of sailing through a soft, hands-on experience. Torre Normanna (Medieval Watchtower) A medieval coastal watchtower once used to protect the area, with panoramic views of the surrounding coastline. Swimming Spots (Both Sides of the Coast) Enjoy beautiful swimming spots on both sides just outside the harbour, with calm waters and easy access. ️ Sea Caves Explore small sea caves accessible by swimming or using on-board equipment such as canoe or SUP (available on request). Old Tonnara (Ancient Tuna Fishery) Remains of a traditional tuna fishery, telling the storey of Sicily’s long maritime and fishing traditions.

Casetta Bianca di Garibaldi (Sant’Elia) A charming white house linked to Garibaldi, set above a hidden cove with crystal-clear waters. Capo Zafferano Lighthouse A scenic lighthouse in one of the most beautiful coastal areas near Palermo, surrounded by clear waters. Sicilian Lunch at Sea After a refreshing swim in crystal-clear waters, enjoy a light Sicilian meal on board with prosecco, wine or beer and refreshing drinks. Relax surrounded by the sea while tasting authentic local flavours. For a more immersive experience, an optional cooking experience at sea is available (on request), with a freshly prepared starter and a pasta dish with local seafood. The menu is agreed in advance (at least one day before departure). Scoglio dello Scarpone A unique rock formation rising from the sea, surrounded by Posidonia seagrass meadows. Perfect for scenic views and a refreshing swim, with the chance to spot small local fish (such as aiola) in clear waters.

Arco Azzurro (Blue Arch) A famous natural sea arch, known for its crystal-clear waters and iconic setting, featured in the Baci Perugina commercial. ️ Baia dei Francesi (French Bay) A secluded and picturesque bay with crystal-clear turquoise waters, surrounded by cliffs and Mediterranean vegetation. Ideal for swimming, relaxing and enjoying the natural beauty of one of the most enchanting spots along the Palermo coastline. Capo Mongerbino A scenic stretch of coastline offering panoramic views over the Gulf of Palermo and the entire Conca d’Oro. Beneath its clear waters lie historic World War II artillery wrecks, adding a unique and fascinating touch to the experience.

Scoglio di Formica

Scoglio della Formica & Return Sail On the way back, pass by Scoglio della Formica, a scenic rock formation and the area where the Bayesian superyacht wreck was discovered. If conditions allow, enjoy a final swim stop before a relaxing sail back to San Nicola. If you’re lucky, you may even spot dolphins playing near the bow, especially at sunset.
