Activity itinerary

Mercado Municipal (Pass by)
Along the way you will pass by the Public Market, one of the most famous tourist spots in Florianópolis. It has its origins in tents and greengrocers built by the government of the Captaincy of Santa Catarina, probably at the end of the 18th century. Place where the small traders of the island, and nearby coast (São José da Terra Firme and São Miguel da Terra Firme), sold fish, dried meat, beans, rice, manioc, vegetables, drugs from the sertão, freshly prepared foods, among other products.
Hercilio Luz Bridge (Pass by)
The bridge was designed and built during the government of Hercílio Luz to be the first land connection between the island and the mainland. Its construction began on November 14, 1922 and was inaugurated on May 13, 1926. Listed as historical, artistic and architectural heritage of the municipality of Florianópolis on August 4, 1992, through decree number 637/92.
Praia dos Ingleses (Pass by)
If you are staying in the North of the Island, on your way you will pass through the area of the Ingleses, where Praia dos Ingleses is located. Well structured place with many options of hotels, bars, restaurants and shops. The area of Ingleses was part of the Parish of São João Batista do Rio Vermelho, founded in 1831, and the name of the beach is due to an English ship that ran aground there. There are two hypotheses for the ship's fate. The first says that he unraveled and went on his way, leaving some crew on the Island. The other says he was shipwrecked.
Canasvieiras (Pass by)
If you are staying in the North of the Island, on your way you will pass through Canasvieiras. There are some theories about the origin of the name "Canasvieiras"; the most historically accepted explanation would be the fact that a species of sugar cane, the "cana-viera", was widely cultivated in the region. The beach is also identified as "Praia Cana Vieiras" on a 1786 map.
Jurere Tradicional (Pass by)
If you are staying in the North region of the island, your route will pass through Jurerê Tradicional. A region that remained preserved until the 20th century. The beach was called, generically, Praia do Forte, a name that today is the neighbouring beach. The "traditional" portion has a local community, still with fishermen, but also with the presence of commerce and services.
Lagoa da Conceicao (Pass by)
If you are staying in the eastern region of the island, you will pass by our postcard, the heart of the city known as Lagoa da Conceição. The parish of Nossa Senhora da Conceição da Lagoa, with 19.2km2, was founded in 1750. The lagoon was one of the most important colonial centers on the island of Santa Catarina, together with Santo Antônio de Lisboa and Ribeiro on the island. The occupation starts from the village of Nossa Senhora do Desterro. Group of people, probably families, who fed on Cockles (molluscs) and who left behind the cemeteries and arrowheads, large piles of shells. The best known as the sambaquis da Ponta da Alma and Canto dos Araçás. Even before the Azorean couples arrived at the lagoon, it would have been occupied by indigenous populations in very remote times. There are traces of these 4,500-year-old moments of history at various points along its banks.
Praia do Campeche (Pass by)
If you are staying in the southern region of the island, your route will pass through the Campeche area. Campeche beach is oceanic and located in the area of the same name. A very preserved beach that is between Joaquina beach and Morro das Pedras beach. Right in front of the beach is the island of Campeche, which gave its name to both the beach and the area.
Ciclovia Beira Mar Norte (Pass by)
Your route will pass through Avenida Jornalista Rubens de Arruda Ramos, better known as Avenida Beira-Mar Norte, is an avenue in Florianópolis. It is located in the central region of the city, between the lower part of the Hercílio Luz Bridge and the access viaduct to the North of the Island. It is an avenue that runs along the sea, built on an embankment in the 1960s. In the 1980s it was expanded and took its current format, with three lanes of road and three more lanes of local lane in the Center-Trindade direction. , and integrated with the Baia Sul landfill built in the 1970s, in addition to receiving a boardwalk and bike path.
Governador Celso Ramos (Pass by)
You will pass through some municipalities such as Governador Celso Ramos the colonisation of the region of the current municipality began in the 18th century, with the arrival of Azorean immigrants attracted by whale fishing, giving rise to Armação da Piedade. As it did not offer conditions for development, its inhabitants moved to the town of Ganchos, where the seat of the municipality is today. Several beaches in the municipality are used for leisure and tourism, especially Anhatomirim Island, for its scenic beauty and historical importance. In addition, another regionally famous place is Baia dos Golfinhos, and several beaches such as Palmas, Antenor, Calheiros Armação and Praia Grande.
Porto Belo Outlet Premium (Pass by)
We will also pass through the municipality of Porto Belo, as the name itself already gives indications of what this "paradise" is. A small port surrounded by natural beauties, forming a bay with its beaches, islands and coasts, where large and luxurious ships pass. Porto Belo is an invitation to the right stop on the itinerary of sea cruises and holiday trips. A beach with few waves, fine white sand and an exclusive area for bathers, separate from speedboats or jet skis.
Bombinhas (Pass by)
Its route will also pass through the smallest municipality of Santa Catarina, Bombinhas, with an area of 34.5 km². It has several beaches such as Bombas, Bombinhas, Zimbros, Canto Grande, Conceição, Ribeiro, Mariscal, Praia da Sepultura, Praia do Retiro dos Padres and Praia de Quatro Ilhas. It was considered the capital of ecological diving in 2013, and has been known since then.
Itapema Beach (Pass by)
We will also pass through the municipality of Itapema, it is next to Camboriú resort with beautiful beaches. Previously inhabited by indigenous people, in the mid-18th century, Azorean settlers arrived from the bay of Porto Belo. More than 8000 kilometres away from Santa Catarina, the Azoreans who emigrated to Brazil in the 18th century (between 1748-1756) have their origins in the islands of Terceira, São Jorge, Pico, Faial, Graciosa and São Miguel.
Avenida Interpraias (Pass by)
Your route will be privileged by a panoramic view of the most beautiful beaches of the North coast of Santa Catarina. The Interpraias Highway or Interpraias Avenue, officially called the Beach Access Line, is a scenic highway that is 14 kilometres long, and connects Itapema to Balneário Camboriú. It starts at kilometre 136 of the BR-101, near the Morro do Boi tunnel. Altogether, six beaches are connected by the road: Estaleirinho, Estaleiro, Pinho, Taquaras, Taquarinhas and Laranjeiras. Our first stop is here on the beaches of Taquaras and Taquarinhas, beautiful and very preserved places, a moment with the aim of providing the visitor with a peaceful day, where he has total freedom to enjoy the beaches connecting to the historical context, contemplation of nature, swimming sea and beautiful photos.
Balneario Camboriu (Pass by)
The city, with its steep hills that drop to the sea, is popular with South Americans. The main seaside avenue is Avenida Atlântica and its famous cable car connects the city's central beach to Laranjeiras beach. Balneário Camboriú is also known by the nickname "Brazilian Dubai", due to the high number of skyscrapers and tourists. Among the tourist facilities, we have in Barra Sul of the municipality, a cable car that adds the UNIPRAIAS Tourist Complex and connects Praia Central to Praia das Laranjeiras. Our next stop is here in Laranjeiras, where the visitor boards a cable car and goes to UNIPRAIS Park, from there we head to Balneário Camboriú for lunch.
