Activity itinerary

Grand Teton

  • 10m
We will stop at the iconic Grand Teton Park Sign for a group photo

Mormon Row Historic District

  • 30m
Mormon Row is a historic district located in Grand Teton National Park and is a popular destination for visitors to see and photograph the iconic Moulton barns. The area is named after the Mormon settlers who established homesteads there in the late 19th century. The district is a significant example of early homesteading and the Mormon influence on the region's settlement and irrigation systems.

Glacier View Turnout

  • 5m
Across the valley, the Teton Range rises abruptly from the valley with no foothills to obscure your view. Glaciers lie sheltered on the northeastern flanks of the highest peaks including the Middle Teton and Teton glaciers. Climate change is causing these glaciers to retreat. Smaller glaciers are retreating more rapidly than larger glaciers. Along the valley floor, conifer and cottonwood trees line the Snake River as it cuts through the sagebrush flats.

Schwabacher Landing

  • 15m
Schwabacher’s Landing is a spot on the Snake River, almost exactly east of Grand Teton, where the terrain flattens out and allows easy access to the river. There is a dirt road coming off the main highway and down to various trailheads. This is a launch site on the River for anglers and river rafters and is one of America’s most spectacular viewpoints.

Moran (Pass by)

The entrance to the National Park. Park passes will be purchased here

Oxbow Bend

  • 10m
While there are countless breathtaking views of the Teton Range throughout the park, Oxbow Bend is one of the most iconic. A channel of the Snake River "bends" towards the turnout with the water often reflecting the towering Mount Moran in the background. Year-round, this location provides stunning views of scenery AND wildlife. Trumpeter swans, otters, beavers, and bears are some of the animals occasionally seen from this turnout.

Willow Flats Overlook

  • 5m
Willow Flats in Grand Teton National Park offers both beautiful scenery and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, particularly for those interested in seeing moose, elk, and various bird species. The area is characterised by willows and wet meadows that provide habitat for these animals, and the view of the Teton Range across Jackson Lake is stunning.

Jackson Lake

  • 20m
Concrete dam completed in 1916, with panoramic views of Jackson Lake & the Grand Teton mountains.

Jenny Lake

  • 30m
Jenny Lake is one of the most visited areas in Grand Teton National Park. Tucked away at the base of the Teton Range, the lake is a centrepiece of the park. From the east shore, visitors have views of Teewinot Mountain, Mount St. John, and into Cascade Canyon. From the west shore, visitors can look back across the lake towards the valley of Jackson Hole. There is also an optional ferry ride which can be purchased if groups would like this experience. Hikes around this area are also an option

Chapel Of The Transfiguration

  • 5m
Rustic 1925 log chapel with a well-known view of the Tetons' tallest peaks through its altar window.

Craig Thomas Discovery & Visitor Center in Moose

  • 30m
Grand Teton information hub offering natural history exhibits, a video, maps & a book & gift shop.

Moose Wilson Rd (Pass by)

Weather and time permitting, we will drive the iconic Moose-Wilson Road. Opportunities for wildlife viewing, and entry to the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve (LSRP). The route was originally created by homesteaders who settled the area before it became a national park.
