8:00 am t0 6:00 pm Larimar - Ambar Mine Museum, one of the most visited places, with an exhibition of some of the most impressive Dominican amber stones, since this country has the most important amber deposits in the world. The blue, green or warm honey colours are unique to this area due to its volcanic activity. Here you can discover the history of this precious stone. In addition, you will enjoy a sample of the typical drink called Mamajuana, a liquor originating from the Dominican Republic. You will also see samples containing animal fossils. In a room designed as a cave, you will be able to see a lizard of almost 43 centimetres and other animals that date back 15 to 20 million years.
