Visit the largest colony of Magellanic penguins in South America on a shore excursion from Puerto Madryn. From September through April, Punta Tombo hosts approximately one million penguins that arrive to complete their breeding cycle and molt.
Other specimens of guanacos, Patagonian hares, and other terrestrial fauna complete the scene. Enjoy a privileged view of the Atlantic Ocean coast.
Start your tour with a transfer from the port to Punta Tombo. Stop at a petrol station for a bathroom break before continuing to the penguin colony. Arrive at Punta Tombo and visit the rookery to see the penguins.
As long as the time allows, upon returning from the reserve we will give you a city tour of Puerto Madryn before dropping you off at the dock exit.
