Step into the Qingdao Guanfu Banquet and be transported back to the Tang Dynasty. Located on the 3rd floor of the North District Cruise Home Port, the banquet hall faces the magnificent sea view on one side and the bright and elegant Tang Dynasty royal scene on the other.
With the theme of “All Nations Come to Court - Dream Back to the Prosperous Tang Dynasty”, the banquet perfectly integrates Oriental aesthetics, Tang culture, and mountain-sea scenery, allowing every guest to start a millennium-spanning time travel as soon as they step in.
As you enter, admire the starry dome and the blue bricks recreating Tang Dynasty patterns underfoot. Be guided by maids in Tang costumes holding palace lanterns, and listen to the melodious sounds of Tang bili and chime bells.
Choose from hundreds of Tang-style costumes and professional makeup, from complicated court dresses to elegant literati daily clothes. After changing clothes, every random shot is a living Tang Dynasty beauty picture, full of atmosphere.
The feast is carefully created based on the Tang Dynasty “Shaowei Banquet Menu”. Royal delicacies such as Green Shadow Jade Lady Melon, Braised Seafood with Cloud Shark's Fin, and Drunken Calabash in Yaochi are served one after another. The individual serving system shows the etiquette to the fullest, and each dish is matched with a poetry note, turning taste into poetry, and tasting the flavour of Chang'an in one bite.
During the meal, enjoy grand Tang music and dances, including the exotic style of Huxuan Dance, the elegant flexibility of Feitian Dance, and the sharp and unrestrained Sword Dance. With the light and shadow stage art, the grandeur of the court and the prosperity of the market are presented one by one.
Participate in many interesting interactions during the banquet: learn the fork hand ceremony and bow ceremony from the attendants, participate in small games such as poetry puzzle solving and flower passing with drums, and get surprise gifts such as gilded sachets for correct answers. NPCs interact immersively throughout the whole process, making you change from a “spectator” to a “person in the prosperous Tang Dynasty”.
