After check-in at our SkyTrek desk in the centre of Queenstown, you'll be taken to Coronet Peak via a courtesy shuttle, a short 20 minute drive from the centre of Queenstown to the end of the Coronet Peak ski-field road. Your pilot will guide you to a chair-lift where you'll both then be taken to the top of Coronet Peak. A short walk in snow to the launch area and your pilot will give you a safety briefing and explain what you'll need to do to become airborne together. Harnesses and helmets will be fitted and checked. After all the safety checks have been completed, the pilot will prepare to launch. Feel the glider inflate behind you and then after a couple of steps with your pilot, you'll become airborne. The pilot will navigate the paraglider over the ski-field and you'll slowly descend to a gentle landing on the valley floor after about 15-20 minutes in the air. Equipment will be packed up and your friendly ground crew will transport you back to Queenstown with the whole experience taking about 2 hours.
