A murky and exciting itinerary that spans centuries of crimes, vendettas, and mysteries that have remained shrouded in shadow. We start from San Giovanni Evangelista, where the court intrigues of Galla Placidia trace the first trail of blood in the city's history. We continue towards the Baptistery of the Arians, the scene of the decline of the Ostrogoths, a dynasty that died out amidst conspiracies and violence.
In the heart of Piazza del Popolo, a demonic episode from the Decameron resurfaces, while in Via Salara, we return to the Renaissance: here, Duke Della Rovere ruthlessly eliminated an inconvenient cardinal. In Piazza Kennedy, the (almost always unpunished) crimes of the powerful Rasponi family emerge, who dominated the city more with fear than with the law. Finally, head back to Piazza del Popolo for a surprising epilogue… which you'll only discover during the visit.
