First, you meet your dance teacher for a 1-hour Forró class. Forró is a very local and traditional Brazilian dance, less commercial than samba and loved by locals. It comes from the northeast of Brazil and is easy, social, and fun. No partner or experience is needed, and the teacher will guide you step by step.
After the class, we go together by transport to a local Forró club. Your teacher is also your guide, so you already have a dance partner if you want to dance. Inside the club, you enjoy a live Forró band, great music, and a real local atmosphere. Even if you don’t dance, watching locals dance is an amazing cultural experience.
This experience happens every Wednesday and is a great way to enjoy real Brazilian culture, music, and nightlife.
