Your journey begins with approximately 2.5 hours dedicated to the Rio Negro Tubing Adventure, including transport, safety briefing, equipment fitting, and the river descent itself. Enjoy direct excitement as you bounce and splash through 5 km (3 miles) of Class II and III rapids on the crystal-clear Rio Negro (Black River). Along the way, calmer pools provide opportunities to relax and take in the stunning scenery of the tropical dry forest. Specially designed individual river tubes feature handles and protective bottoms for added comfort and safety, while experienced guides accompany you throughout the adventure.

After your tubing experience, enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at La Hacienda Restaurant, featuring a variety of local and international dishes.

The adventure concludes with time to unwind at the renowned Río Negro Hot Springs. Surrounded by lush tropical forest, these mineral-rich thermal pools are naturally heated by the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano, the largest and most active volcano in Guanacaste. Enhance your experience with a traditional volcanic mud treatment, known for its cleansing and rejuvenating properties, before relaxing in the soothing thermal waters.
