This tour is led by Lisa, a local guide who was born and raised in Rome and is passionate about street art and the hidden gems that areas less visited by tourists have to offer.
Through a ring walk of about 4km, you will learn about the history and main sights of 2 areas that ordinary travellers have usually never heard of.
This will allow you to admire about 30 of Rome's most stunning murals and learn about their history and authors.
To reach the meeting point, use local buses or Metro B line (the blue line) and get off at Garbatella.
Here, you will get acquainted with the tour guide and other travellers and learn about the stops and the itinerary.
From here, you will walk to discover the authentic districts and their murals. If you wish, you can stop for gelato at one of the city's best gelato parlours.
Get your camera ready because you'll see one of the most unique areas in Rome, designed by architects from the early 20th century. There is no other place like it in Rome, and you will fall in love with it.
Once we have walked the Garbatella area with its murals and monuments, we will walk to the Tor Marancia area.
An open-air museum of contemporary art awaits you in Tor Marancia that you will hardly forget.
Then we walk back through more street art telling you about local history and culture.
The walk ends at the starting point, Garbatella metro station.
