Embark on a unique journey through the Rovinj archipelago on our half-day trip, featuring iconic attractions such as Red Island and Lim Bay. In just five hours, immerse yourself in the natural splendours of the Istrian coast and explore well-preserved historical sites, offering you an up-close encounter with locations straight from the pages of glossy tourist magazines.
Our adventure begins with the biggest attraction: the old town of Rovinj. As soon as we depart, Rovinj unveils itself like a picture book, showcasing its wind- and sea-battered rooftops and colourful seaside houses, reminiscent of Venetian architecture. Dominating the skyline is the majestic tower of St. Euphemia's Church, home to the saint's relics and the subject of many local legends.
Following the panorama of the Old Town, you can sit back and relax as we leisurely sail towards Red Island. Enjoy a homemade aperitif and light canapés featuring local tomatoes before disembarking for an hour of swimming and sunbathing on the island's pristine shores.
Next, we set course for Lim Bay. En route, our knowledgeable guide will share fascinating insights into the history and geography of the Rovinj area. Upon arrival at Lim Bay, we'll visit the Pirate Cave, strategically positioned for breathtaking panoramic views of the bay's serpentine shape, traditional wooden ships, and stunning cliffs.
On the opposite side of the bay, we'll stop at a beautiful beach for a delicious lunch prepared on a charcoal grill onboard. Savour fresh sardines and meat from a local butcher while enjoying the serene surroundings. You'll have ample time to sunbathe, swim, or even dive off the top of the cabin for a thrilling experience.
As we make our way back to port, we'll have one final stop for swimming in the picturesque bay of Saline. To add to the ambiance, our guide will play the accordion as we sail along the coast, culminating our trip with a scenic approach to the old town.
