We start inside a sunken volcanic crater, catching the breeze at Jardín Botánico La Laguna. Next, we head to Plaza Presidente's upscale modern hub to hit a local rooftop bar for drinks and panoramic city views. From there, we dive into the Historic Centre to walk newly restored pedestrian corridors, see the architectural revamps, and explore plazas now cleared of overhead cabling.
We wrap up the night in Antiguo Cuscatlán—the undisputed capital of the country's national dish—for an authentic pupusa dinner where the locals actually go.
