Start your underwater adventure with the Atlantic Diving Centre, located at Club Santana on the lush east coast of São Tomé. Whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned diver, the warm, clear waters and volcanic seabed provide the perfect playground for discovery. All dives are led by experienced instructors who prioritise safety while offering a relaxed and personal experience.

If you're new to diving, begin with the Discover Scuba Dive, a guided introduction split between the hotel pool and the sea. You’ll first learn the basics in calm, shallow water before heading out for your first open water dive—an unforgettable introduction to São Tomé’s vibrant marine life.

Certified divers can choose from a range of dive options, including single dives, multi-dive packs, and special excursions. Each dive reveals something new: volcanic rock formations, lava tubes, schools of tropical fish, and occasionally sea turtles or rays drifting through the blue. Choose from 1-dive, 2-dive, 4-dive, 6-dive, or 10-dive packages depending on how deep into the underwater world you want to go.

For something truly unique, opt for an extra night dive, where the reef comes alive in a different way—bioluminescence sparkles in the dark, and nocturnal species emerge from hiding. Certified Nitrox divers can enhance their experience with extra EAN Nitrox fills, extending bottom time and reducing fatigue.

Adventurous divers can also explore shipwrecks or venture further along the coast with long-distance dives to the north and south of the island, offering remote sites few have explored. Each outing is carefully selected based on sea conditions and diver experience levels to ensure both safety and enjoyment.

For those looking to become certified, the centre offers the PADI Open Water Course, a full certification that includes theory, pool sessions, and open water dives. Already certified? Take it further with the PADI Advanced Course, where you'll improve your navigation, buoyancy, and deep diving skills. There’s also a Nitrox course available for divers who want to safely use enriched air.

All equipment is provided, and guests staying at Club Santana’s hotel rooms enjoy complimentary access to basic gear.
