What you can expect

Begin your adventure at the east side of Lake Union, in the heart of Seattle. Start with a safety talk and gear-up time. Before heading out, fit your kayak and paddle, go over safety essentials, and ensure you're confident using the gear.

Make a splash as you ease into the lake together, practising paddling techniques with smooth strokes. Paddle across gentle waters towards Gas Works Park, one of Seattle’s most iconic and beloved spots.

Next, paddle towards Seattle’s skyline, getting close to the Space Needle and—if lucky—spotting seaplanes as they take off or land on the lake. Then, paddle towards Seattle’s floating homes—a colourful, charming spot. Enjoy close views of unique architecture and lakeside life.

Finally, paddle gently back to shore, wrapping up the adventure with calm strokes and lasting memories of Seattle’s waters.
